Addis Fine Art is pleased to announce its sixth participation in the London edition of 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, taking place between the 14 – 17 October 2021 at Somerset House in London. The gallery will be presenting a selection of works by artists from our international roster of Ethiopian diasporic artists including Tsedaye Makonnen, Helina Metaferia, Tariku Shiferaw, and Tesfaye Urgessa. These four artists explore questions regarding global Blackness, migration and systemic racism through a variety of mediums and styles.
In addition to both the physical fair at Somerset House and the Christie’s Online Viewing Room, Tesfaye Urgessa will feature in 'REDEFINING THE TREND - Histories in the making', a curated exhibition by Christine Eyene at Christie’s Duke Street exhibition space.
