Addis Fine Art is pleased to announce the opening of 'Alle Legends' at our Addis Ababa gallery. The exhibition opens Sunday, 8 January and runs until Sunday, 25 March 2023.
 
This large-scale group show features the works of 19 artists who have played a pivotal role in shaping and influencing successive generations of graduates from the Alle School of Fine Art and Design. Each of the exhibiting artists has spent time teaching and instructing at the renowned art school. Drawing upon their own personal experiences, they helped to instil an environment of openness and exploration in one of the oldest art schools in East Africa. This exhibition turns the lens onto the educators, serving to illuminate both their individual practices as well as their lasting impact on Ethiopian contemporary art.
