The three-day conference ‘Future Memories’ in Addis Ababa is all about art, its significance for collective cultural memories and their various forms in contemporary African urban environments. A number of artists, academics, curators, historians and architects working in different African countries will contribute their thoughts and visions in a dialogue of experts, interested audiences and local art institutions in Addis Ababa.
